Wow, this looks really great already I especially love the detail in the eyes, they look really realistic.
I think the lips look weird somehow, try to blend that dark line a bit, it looks as if his mouth is a bit open. Just check with the reference, maybe it is A general advice if you're going for a very realistic look is to smooth the shading and give the drawing more contrast. You can use softer pencils (2B, 3B, or softer) to get the really dark tones. Build up layers and smudge them with a tissue or cotton ball or something (not your finger ).
I really think you show a lot of promise, I'm curious to see more from you

His mouth is a little open, acually, at least so it seams on the photo (i had to use a kind of blurry print, but ill post the digital original too..)

Im working on another edward now, so i'll try to use your tips!
